Question: As 2025 winds down and compliance priorities continue to evolve, how can teams adapt to meet organizational needs in a changing landscape?

Answer:

Thankfully, technology can help with many of these pivots in compliance plans—keeping you on track and efficient—allowing time to still focus on pressing compliance concerns throughout the year.

  • Training: If you are planning to launch training, there are features within most LMS systems that allow for recurring enrollments, so that you are not stuck with the administrative task of enrolling learners into training each time a course is needed. The TRACE LMS is a great option to set up semi-annual training on a number of compliance topics.

  • Outreach and Communication: Using your internal intranet or email platforms, you can also create compliance communications in advance, and set them up for delivery throughout the year. If there is an important compliance message that should be addressed, you can use Outlook’s “delay delivery” option to send out a compliance alert at a given date and time, Always remember to check for holidays and large company deadlines!

For real time pivots in compliance, use your conference calling system to schedule an in-person town hall meeting with colleagues, sharing updates and compliance insights. Record the session and send it to anyone who was unable to attend the meeting live.

  • Auditing: If you need to check that your messaging and training is driving your compliance goals, use data analytics tools like Google Analytics to help you see results of your initiatives quickly and easily.

Set up Google Analytics for your LMS, for example, to see how often people are entering the site  to learn the best times to train, and times when people tend not to be online.

With the technology available to us in our day-to-day workplace, it makes the transition in compliance directives much easier to develop and implement. Think outside of the box and even ask other departments about their strategies, you may learn something new! Good luck!
